Handle ecommerce orders in one shared workspace
Bring order details, handling status and exceptions together so your team knows what needs attention next.
A busy morning at the webshop
Orders are coming in, a customer has corrected an address and one parcel needs a second check. The webshop holds the sale, but the team follows up in emails and spreadsheets. Use OrganiseYou as a shared operations workspace: keep the shop as the source of the order and give colleagues a clear view of the work around it.
Why add OrganiseYou?
Model Customers, Orders and Order Lines around your own process. Keep the shop’s order reference alongside an internal handling status, target date and notes. Forms let colleagues review an order; grids and dashboards bring the records into their daily workspace. You can adapt these screens and fields as your process changes, while keeping the original shop reference for reconciliation.
From incoming order to follow-up
An order arrives through a configured webhook or API integration. A colleague checks it in the order grid, corrects an internal note and moves it through your configured process. If something is missing, the team can record the issue and follow it up before handing the order to the next system. Configured field-update and outbound webhook actions can support that hand-off. Each integration and its error handling must be set up and tested.
How to set it up
-
01
Define your order model
Create Customers, Orders and Order Lines with relationships. Include the external order identifier, handling status and the fields your team needs. Decide which system owns each field.
-
02
Bring in shop data
Configure a webhook listener with signature verification and field mapping, or use an authenticated REST endpoint from your integration. Map stable external identifiers and test repeat deliveries so an order is not created twice.
-
03
Build the handling desk
Create order review forms, grids for daily work and a dashboard containing those grids. Use fields for packing progress, missing information and internal notes so colleagues work from the same records.
-
04
Configure and test the process
Define the steps, transitions and conditions for order handling. Use existing actions to update fields or call a saved HTTPS webhook. Test a normal order, an exception and a failed hand-off; inspect execution logs before relying on automation.
